flourishing organisations start with flourishing leaders

To DISCO is to learn

Trauma Responsive People Teams and Culture Program (self-paced)

  • Ever wonder how trauma impacts the workplace? It’s more common—and more impactful on productivity and flourishing —than you realise. Trauma affects how we think, behave, lead, and connect. But what if your organisation could take proactive steps to build a culture that not only understands trauma but responds to it effectively?

The Trauma Responsive People, Teams, and Culture Course is a groundbreaking online and offline program designed to transform the way your organisation approaches leadership, team dynamics, and employee well-being.

The 10-module course is packed with everything you need to know, from understanding how trauma happens and its impact on our neurobiology, behaviour, and relationships, to tackling the dangers of cumulative trauma and burnout in the workplace.

  • This is a video series, made up of 10 short self-paced modules

  • Anyone. Particularly leaders and teams.

Futures Thinking Program

  • The future isn’t something we predict — it’s something we shape.

Delivered by a futurist, this dynamic program introduces participants to the tools, mindsets and practices of futures thinking — a discipline that equips individuals and organisations to anticipate change, explore emerging possibilities, and make more informed, future-ready decisions.

    Outcomes include:

    • Gain practical foresight tools to scan for signals, map drivers of change, and identify opportunity spaces

    • Build confidence navigating uncertainty and complexity

    • Develop compelling future scenarios to inform strategic planning and innovation

    • Enhance collaborative, long-range thinking and systems awareness

    • Translate foresight insights into action and influence in your context

  • MASTERCLASS: Katy Cooper will deliver a masterclass on what Futures Thinking is and what it is not. This thought provoking session is the precursor to the workshops and practical tool application.

PRACTICE: Participate in immersive workshops using real-world scenarios to apply foresight methods and frameworks.

PLAYBOOK: Gain a curated suite of tools, templates, and activities to support continued futures work beyond the program.

  • INDIVIDUALS: Expand your perspective, build strategic adaptability, and strengthen your role as a forward-thinking contributor in any field.

LEADERS: If you’re responsible for guiding teams or organisations through change, futures thinking equips you to lead with foresight, not just react in hindsight..

CHANGE PRACTITIONERS: If you work in transformation, culture or innovation, this program offers powerful tools to expand your influence and deepen your strategic impact.

Big Conversations, Better Outcomes Training

  • This is an immersive experience designed to build capacity and confidence in giving and receiving feedback, having performance conversations, and creating a responsive culture of growth, innovation and continual improvement in all areas of the business.

    Participants will learn about:

🪩 The neurobiology of human interactions and how this impacts behaviour under stress,

🪩 What feedback is (and what it isn’t) and why it is important for heathy cultures,

🪩 How and when to give and receive feedback,

    🪩 Why boundaries matter,

🪩 And practical tools to equip leaders and managers to empower themselves and their people.

By the end of this workshop, participants will walk away with real skills to improve communication, build trust, and create stronger workplaces.

  • This can be delivered as a full day workshop or divided into smaller, bite sized coaching circles.

  • Anyone

Vicarious/Secondary Trauma Training

  • This is a one-day program for people, teams, leaders and practitioners who are regularly exposed to trauma or highly stressful information, experiences or situations in the line of their work.

In the workshop participants will learn how to regulate their experiences, know the signs and mitigations of an overloaded system before it hits burnout, tools and practices to undertake peer-led meaning making sessions, and gain a deeper understanding of how vicarious/secondary trauma shows up in the body, and in behaviour.

  • This training can be delivered in-house to intact teams, or as part of a regular open offering – express your interest here to be notified when our next workshop is on.

Participants will receive access to Trauma responsive people, teams and culture self-led video training, workbook and the one day in person workshop.

Autopilot to Awareness Program

  • You know when you drive somewhere you've driven a hundred times before and you zone out, surprised when you arrive having no real memory of the journey?

How much of your day feels like that? On autopilot / cruise control / zoned out

Wouldn't you rather be aware / awake / alive?

What might be possible if you were really paying attention?
Getting curious about what you feel, think, say and do
Being intentional rather than reacting / reflexive / habitual.

In a world where everything is being automated, I think now's a great time to shift from autopilot to full consciousness. To sit squarely in the cockpit.

Conscious leaders show up intentionally, with self-awareness and curiosity. They are adaptive, accountable and understand how their thoughts and actions influence those around them.

This program is for leaders looking to switch from auto-pilot to awareness. From cruise control to consciousness.

  • 🪩 Co-designed sessions to suit your context, meeting regularly.
🪩 Facilitated provocations and discussions relevant to the group.
🪩 Peer share-backs and feedback loops.

  • Leaders or small teams looking to connect on a deeper level

DISCO’s Guide to Change Making

  • Change making isn’t about implementing IT software or ticking boxes on a project plan. Change making is about the human impacts of initiatives and projects, many of which are happening in tandem.

Change making is about understanding the complex ways people think, relate, and work together to create flourishing systems. It’s messy, unpredictable, and human to its core.

The scariest thing? You will not have all the answers… and that’s okay, in fact - that’s the way it’s supposed to be. Change making is about curiosity, connecting dots, having a bird’s-eye-view to see the system as no one else does. And always from a people perspective.

  • This program includes 6 modules + a DISCO’s Guide to Change Making Playbook

  • Designed to support change makers by title and by the nature of their role (e.g. HR, P&C and Org Dev professionals).
