Futures Thinking Program

  • The future isn’t something we predict — it’s something we shape.

Delivered by a futurist, this dynamic program introduces participants to the tools, mindsets and practices of futures thinking — a discipline that equips individuals and organisations to anticipate change, explore emerging possibilities, and make more informed, future-ready decisions.

    Outcomes include:

    • Gain practical foresight tools to scan for signals, map drivers of change, and identify opportunity spaces

    • Build confidence navigating uncertainty and complexity

    • Develop compelling future scenarios to inform strategic planning and innovation

    • Enhance collaborative, long-range thinking and systems awareness

    • Translate foresight insights into action and influence in your context

  • MASTERCLASS: Katy Cooper will deliver a masterclass on what Futures Thinking is and what it is not. This thought provoking session is the precursor to the workshops and practical tool application.

PRACTICE: Participate in immersive workshops using real-world scenarios to apply foresight methods and frameworks.

PLAYBOOK: Gain a curated suite of tools, templates, and activities to support continued futures work beyond the program.

  • INDIVIDUALS: Expand your perspective, build strategic adaptability, and strengthen your role as a forward-thinking contributor in any field.

LEADERS: If you’re responsible for guiding teams or organisations through change, futures thinking equips you to lead with foresight, not just react in hindsight..

CHANGE PRACTITIONERS: If you work in transformation, culture or innovation, this program offers powerful tools to expand your influence and deepen your strategic impact.

Leader as coach workshop

  • Leaders who engage in coaching conversations with their employees unlock far more than performance improvements. They create the conditions for growth, trust, and long-term success.

Unlike directive management, coaching conversations invite employees to think critically, explore options, and take ownership of their solutions, which builds confidence and accountability.

These conversations show that leaders value their people as capable partners rather than task-doers, strengthening engagement and loyalty.

The result is a more adaptive, empowered workforce where individuals feel seen, supported, and motivated to contribute their best - not because they’re told to, but because they want to.

  • 1x 6-hour workshop.

Level up the experience with a series of online guided practise and accountability circles to embed the learning.

  • Leaders looking to empower their people

What others are saying…

I love that we were able to broach some tricky subjects and practice some skills that desperately needed."

Thanks for a thoughtful and engaging NeuroLeadership workshop yesterday—I found it practical and relevant.”

“Thank you Polly for taking us on this journey together!”

“It was such a pleasure to be part of your workshop. I got so much out of it, lots to take back to my team and reassurance to know that I am dealing with a complex situation appropriately. The opportunities to network and learn from and with others was also a highlight. Thanks again!”

“I recently completed a self-paced module on grief (part of Trauma Responsive People Teams and Culture Program) at work by Dr Polly McGee and honestly, yaaasssss.

We don’t talk (enough) about grief in professional setting, but I promise you it shows up all the time. Any of these things: restructures, roles changing, plans falling through, that general sense of  this isn’t what I thought it would be. The module confirmed my feelings about how often we just push through and tell ourselves it’s not a big deal, or we should be over it. But it doesn’t go away, it just shows up differently. It’s not always obvious, but once you start to see it, it’s everywhere.

My biggest love was that it didn’t treat grief like a problem to fix. It was more about noticing it, making space for it, and understanding how it plays out in teams and culture.
If you’re leading through change or trying to support people well, this is one of those things that’s probably already in the room, you just might not have had a name for it.

What a team these people are at DISCO. Absolutely worth the time.”

Wondering what futurist and a NeuroLeadership designer talk about when they get together?
